Ewan McGregor is making his highly anticipated return to London’s West End after 17 years in ‘My Master Builder,’ a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play. The production begins its run at Wyndham’s theatre on April 17, 2025, and will continue until July 12, 2025.

Set in the Hamptons, the story revolves around a July 4th celebration where Elena Solness plans a party for her architect husband, Henry Solness (played by McGregor), to unveil his latest masterpiece. The evening takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of Mathilde, a former student with whom Henry shares a complicated past.

New Screen Adventures

McGregor is also set to captivate audiences in the new season of his popular motorcycle adventure series ‘Long Way Home’ on Apple TV+. The series follows McGregor and his longtime friend Charley Boorman as they embark on an epic journey from Scotland to England, taking a scenic route through Scandinavia, the Arctic Circle, the Baltics, and continental Europe. The adventure spans more than 15 countries, featuring spectacular scenery and some of the world’s greatest driving roads.

Upcoming Film Projects

Adding to his impressive lineup, McGregor stars alongside Anne Hathaway in ‘Flowervale Street,’ a highly anticipated feature from director David Robert Mitchell. The film, which will be released in IMAX on May 16, 2025, also features rising talents Maisy Stella and Christian Convery, though plot details are being kept under wraps.

McGregor is also set to appear in ‘The Cow,’ a World War II comedy-drama directed by Marc Forster. The film follows Charlie Granger, a prisoner of war, and his ingenious escape plan involving a cow.
