This agreement ensures that cricket remains accessible to UK audiences on free-to-air platforms.

Comprehensive 2025 Ashes Coverage

BBC Test Match Special is in Australia to bring full coverage of the Men’s Ashes, with live ball-by-ball coverage available on BBC Sounds, BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and the BBC Sport website and app. Test Match Special (TMS) will deliver ball-by-ball commentary throughout the series, supported by daily highlights available on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app. A daily Ashes debrief show hosted by Alex Hartley will be available on iPlayer shortly after stumps, ensuring fans can catch up regardless of time zones.
