Bijan Robinson Targets Breakthrough Season with Atlanta Falcons in 2025

A Rising Star in the NFL

Bijan Robinson’s 2024 campaign was a genuine breakout season, as he became just the fifth player in Falcons history to gain 1,800 scrimmage yards in a single season, finishing fourth among all NFL players with 1,887 yards.

Record-Breaking Performance

His impressive stats include 15 touchdowns, 1,456 rushing yards (third in the league), and 99 forced missed tackles. Throughout his career, he has appeared in 34 games, recording 518 carries for 2,432 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns, while also catching 119 passes for 918 yards and five receiving touchdowns.

Setting New Goals for 2025

‘We’re done with 30-yard runs and all that stuff,’ Robinson declared. ‘Now it’s time to get those 60 yards, 50 yards. So, I’ve been doing a lot more explosive drills. I’ve been doing a lot more running — 100 yards, like sprinting — so we can be prepared for, God willing, when those moments come in all the games.’

2025 Season Predictions

According to NFL analysts, Robinson is projected to finish as the No. 2 rusher in 2025 with 1,488 rushing yards, just behind Saquon Barkley’s predicted 1,548 yards. He is expected to lead the league in total touches with 390 on the season, and analysts predict he will top the charts with 14 total touchdowns, suggesting even more dynamic plays are on the horizon.

Impact on the Falcons’ Future

With quarterback Michael Penix showing promise when he took over for Kirk Cousins in 2024, and having an entire offseason to prepare to run the offense, the team’s prospects are looking up. While the Falcons finished 8-9 in 2024, the combination of Penix and Robinson working together could help the team reach new heights.
