Located in the Castlecroft area of Wolverhampton, Smestow Academy is part of Matrix Academy Trust with an age range of 11-18 and 552 pupils. In January 2023 Smestow School was rebrokered, and was renamed Smestow Academy. The school has been working on improvements following previous challenges, with a school inspection published on 12 January 2026.
