Bradley Walsh’s Television Empire Grows with New Egyptian Adventure Series

A New Chapter in Walsh’s Varied Career

Bradley Walsh, the beloved British TV presenter, actor, and comedian, is adding another exciting project to his impressive portfolio. The 64-year-old, known for hosting ITV’s The Chase and BBC’s Gladiators, is set to feature in a new documentary series titled ‘Bradley Walsh: Egypt’s Cosmic Code’.

Exploring Ancient Mysteries

The three-part series, scheduled to air on Sky HISTORY this March, will follow Walsh as he fulfills his lifelong dream of exploring Ancient Egypt’s monuments. The show will showcase his passion for engineering as he investigates how the wonders of the ancient world were constructed 4,500 years ago. Throughout the series, Walsh will be accompanied by expert scholars from prestigious institutions.

Current Television Success

Walsh’s current ventures are achieving remarkable success. The revived series of Gladiators has become one of the BBC’s most successful family entertainment launches in seven years, attracting more than six million viewers during its premiere episode, and scoring nearly nine million during the whole first series.

Looking ahead, Gladiators is set to embark on a new Live Arena Tour across major UK cities, including Liverpool, Manchester, London and Glasgow, in November and December 2025. During these events, fans will have the opportunity to meet the Gladiators in person and witness live action as they compete against returning contenders from the first two series.

Family Affairs and Future Projects

At 64, Walsh continues to demonstrate his versatility alongside his son Barney, 26, with whom he co-hosts Gladiators. The father-son duo has been widely praised for their chemistry and energy in reviving the iconic format. The show’s success has led to its renewal for a third series, with filming scheduled for summer 2025 and broadcast planned for January 2026.

Meanwhile, Walsh maintains his position as host of The Chase on ITV, where contestants compete against professional quizzers known as ‘Chasers’ for cash prizes. As of 2025, the show features six chasers: Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis.
