Love Island Games Season 2: Global Romance Meets Competition in Revolutionary New Format

A New Chapter in Reality Dating
Peacock has announced exciting details for the upcoming season of Love Island Games, which brings together fan-favorite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe — including USA, U.K., and Australia — as they compete for love and a chance to win the $100,000 grand prize.
New Host and Format Changes
In a significant change for the franchise, Love Island USA host Ariana Madix has been named the new host of Love Island Games, taking over from Maya Jama who hosted the first season.
The show will maintain some familiar faces, with Maura Higgins returning as the social media host and Iain Stirling reprising his role as the narrator.
Revolutionary Viewing Experience
For the first time, viewers will be able to follow along as the season plays out in real time, similar to Love Island USA. This innovative approach allows audiences to vote for their favorite couples through the Love Island USA app, directly influencing which Islanders will recouple, who remains in the villa, and who leaves heartbroken.
Competition Meets Romance
The show introduces an exciting new format where couples will compete in challenges while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, and dramatic arrivals, along with new competition twists that control the game like never before.
Global Setting and Premiere Date
The new season is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 16, with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT on Peacock. Following the premiere, new episodes will stream on Thursdays through Tuesdays. The show will feature an international cast including contestants from the UK, USA, France, Malta, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with more Islanders joining throughout the season.
