Meanwhile, Orava Castle, one of Slovakia’s most visited and historically significant landmarks, is gearing up for a major transformation with an extensive €4.5 million renovation project. The museum will launch an augmented-reality app, which will allow visitors to experience the castle’s drawbridge in action, blending traditional preservation with cutting-edge technology.
In Turkey, devastating earthquakes in February 2023 caused severe damage to Gaziantep Castle, prompting the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to initiate an extensive restoration project to repair the damage and ensure the site’s preservation for future generations.
