Dame Mary Berry, one of Britain’s most cherished culinary figures, continues to captivate audiences as she celebrates her 90th birthday. On 24 March 2025 a special live edition of BBC’s The One Show featured Berry for a celebration of her 90th birthday. The beloved chef, who has inspired generations of home bakers through her warmth, expertise, and approachable recipes, shows no signs of slowing down as she embarks on exciting new ventures.

New Book and Television Series Mark the Occasion

To commemorate this significant milestone, Mary’s latest book is Mary 90 and will be published 9th October 2025, celebrating Mary’s 90th Birthday and 90 of her best recipes. This publication represents nearly six decades of culinary expertise, following her debut cookbook in the 1970s.

Additionally, Berry will present Mary at 90: A Lifetime of Cooking; a six-part cookery series featuring some of Berry’s favourite recipes scheduled to air on BBC Two and iPlayer in autumn 2025. The series will showcase her remarkable career whilst introducing viewers to new and exciting recipes.

Expanding Her Brand and Stepping Down from Key Role

As Mary turns 90, she also celebrates the launch of her newest range of tabletop product developed with British specialist in design and development of dining ranges Captivate Brands. A stylish, high-quality range of products, the collection was inspired by items from her own kitchen with a nod to her love of gardening and the outdoors.

However, after ten years in the role Dame Mary Berry is stepping down as the President of the National Garden Scheme. This marks the end of an era for the organisation, though Berry’s influence remains evident across multiple charitable endeavours.
