Paramount Plus Strengthens Content Lineup with High-Profile Shows and Sports Coverage for September 2025

Streaming Service Evolution and Premium Offerings
Paramount Global has made significant changes to its streaming service, notably renaming its top-tier streaming package. The premium plan, formerly known as ‘Paramount+ With Showtime,’ is now called ‘Paramount+ Premium’. The pricing remains unchanged at $12.99 monthly or $119.99 annually, while the Essential plan with ads continues at $7.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly.
September 2025 Programming Highlights
The September lineup is headlined by the explosive third season of ‘Tulsa King’ starring Sylvester Stallone and the highly anticipated new original series ‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’. South Park enthusiasts can also enjoy the collection with new Season 27 episodes.
The ‘NCIS’ spinoff continues the story after Ziva’s supposed death when Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter. The new series follows the couple as they must go on the run across Europe, attempting to uncover who is targeting them while rebuilding their trust in each other.
Sports and Entertainment Coverage
Sports fans will benefit from extensive NFL coverage, with live, local market games streaming throughout the 18-week regular season. The service will feature marquee matchups, including a Thanksgiving game and the AFC Championship game. The NFL Today studio show will broadcast from various locations, including Week 1 from Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Additionally, CBS Sports is introducing its first-ever streaming-only official NFL Sunday pregame show, The NFL Today+.
Special Events and Awards Shows
The platform will stream major entertainment events, including the 2025 Video Music Awards hosted by LL Cool J on September 7 and the Primetime Emmy Awards hosted by Nate Bargatze on September 14. Viewers can also look forward to ‘A GRAMMY Salute to Earth, Wind & Fire Live: The 21st Night of September,’ a special CBS celebration.
This comprehensive content expansion demonstrates Paramount+’s commitment to delivering diverse programming across entertainment, sports, and special events, solidifying its position in the competitive streaming landscape.
