Take That Set to Revive Legendary Circus Live Tour in Summer 2026
Iconic Pop Trio Returns to the Stage
Take That, one of Britain’s most beloved pop groups, have thrilled fans with news that they will be returning to the stage next summer with one of their biggest and most iconic live shows, The Circus Live, announced by the group at a press conference this morning. This spectacular revival comes almost 17 years after the original tour captivated audiences across the UK and Ireland.
The announcement holds particular significance for British music fans, as the original Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with more than 600,000 tickets sold in under five hours, and more than one million fans attended the sell-out shows. The return of this groundbreaking production demonstrates Take That’s enduring appeal and their continued ability to deliver world-class entertainment.
A Tour Like No Other
Take That – The Circus Live – Summer 2026, will kick off at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton on May 29, with the band then playing a run of stadium dates around the UK & Ireland including shows in Coventry, Sunderland, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and two nights at the London Stadium, with the final show scheduled in 2026 for Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on July 4.
The original production was renowned for its theatrical spectacle. The original tour featured fire-breathers, stilt-walkers, clowns, acrobats, tap dancers and a 30-foot-tall mechanical elephant, which carried the band through the audience. For the 2026 revival, the band are set to perform the original 2009 set list, as well as new elements.
The Script, who supported Take That on the original ‘Circus Live’ tour, will return as very special guests at all UK shows in 2026, and Belinda Carlisle is also set to open the forthcoming dates.
