Irish Pop Legends Mark Quarter-Century Milestone
Westlife, the Irish pop group formed in Dublin in 1998, consists of members Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Mark Feehily. As one of the most successful boy bands in music history, the group has sold over 55 million records and are holders of four Guinness World Records. Now, Westlife has announced the UK and European leg of their 25th anniversary tour, marking a momentous celebration for both the band and their dedicated fanbase.

Running from September 2026, the tour will see the band deliver a euphoric, hit-filled set spanning their extraordinary 25-year career from timeless ballads to global chart-toppers. The UK/Euro leg of Westlife kicks off with a 10-night residency at 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland, where the band originally formed. The tour will then visit major cities across the United Kingdom before heading to Europe for their first headline continental shows.
The band continued touring in 2024 with dates in Southeast Asia to sell-out audiences across Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea. Their recent international success demonstrates the enduring global appeal of Westlife’s music, with the band’s music streamed over three billion times globally with 36 number 1 albums worldwide and 14 UK number 1 singles, while the Wild Dreams Tour between 2022 and 2024 sold over 1.2m tickets alone.

Accompanying the tour announcement, Westlife released ‘Chariot’, a brand-new single written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds and co-written and produced by Steve Mac, arriving as a special release for fans to mark 25 years of music and memories. The single will feature on Westlife’s forthcoming album ’25 – The Ultimate Collection’, out 13th February 2026, a celebration of their record-breaking 25-year journey, combining 21 fan favourites with brand-new material recorded by all four members of Westlife.
