On 4 December 2025, HM Treasury announced it had sanctioned Panjab Warriors member Gurpreet Singh Rehal under the Domestic Counter-Terrorism Regime, freezing his UK assets and issuing a director disqualification. The club responded swiftly, confirming that the individual’s consultancy role has been terminated and that he held no strategic authority.
